From Volunteer Roots to Regional and Continental Authority

Who We Are

Women in Action Research and Education Institute (WiN), established in 2023, has grown from a youth-led volunteer community initiative into a legally registered Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO). Our strategy is to place research at the heart of advocacy and action. Through this lens, WiN advances work in climate change adaptation, just agroecology and food sovereignty, digital innovation, gender justice, sexual and reproductive health rights, mental health, and social inclusion. We are committed to empowering women, girls, and youth by creating knowledge-driven solutions that inspire resilience, equity, and transformation.
